Position: Java Backend Developer
Location: Mumbai & Gurgaon (Work from Office)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer experienced in building scalable, high-performance microservices using Quarkus , Spring , and modern backend technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Java development, API design, and cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy backend applications and microservices using Java , Spring Boot , and Quarkus .

  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend systems that are scalable, secure, and efficient.

  • Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.

  • Write clean, reusable, and testable code following best practices.

  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions.

  • Integrate backend services with databases, messaging systems, and external APIs.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development .

  • Strong knowledge of Quarkus and Spring Framework / Spring Boot .

  • Proven experience in Microservices architecture and API design .

  • Solid understanding of REST , JSON , and HTTP protocols .

  • Experience with ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA) and SQL/NoSQL databases .

  • Familiarity with Docker , Kubernetes , or other containerization tools.

  • Knowledge of Git , CI/CD pipelines , and Agile development practices.

Good to Have

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

  • Understanding of Kafka , RabbitMQ , or other messaging systems.

  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).

  • Awareness of DevOps and API security best practices .

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
