Role Overview:
We're looking for a backend engineer who can hit the ground running, own complex workflows, and keep the data engine humming. Someone who's hands-on with Java, rock-solid with Spring Boot, and confident with Oracle PL/SQL. If you know Kafka and Provider Data, even better — we want people who think in systems, not just code lines.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Implement and optimize JDBC connections for high-performance data access.
Develop, debug, and tune complex Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages.
Integrate and manage Spring-Kafka pipelines for near real-time data flows.
Work on provider data models—ingestion, validation, transformation, and mapping.
Ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability through best practices and automated testing.
Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps to ship stable releases fast.
Troubleshoot production issues with a root-cause-first mindset.
Required Skills
Strong experience in Core Java and Spring Boot.
Deep understanding of JDBC, connection pooling, and query optimization.
Hands-on expertise in Oracle PL/SQL (procedures, functions, triggers, packages).
Working knowledge of Kafka (producers, consumers, partitions, offsets).
Familiarity with provider data structures and business rules (healthcare domain preferred).
Solid grounding in REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems concepts.
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving mindset.
Good-to-Have
Experience with CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes.
Exposure to OAuth2, security frameworks, or API gateways.
Understanding of scalable architectural patterns.
