Statutory Manager

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The Statutory Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all statutory and financial reporting functions of the organization. This role ensures accurate bookkeeping, compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, effective cash management, and provides financial insights and guidance to support strategic decision-making.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise daily bookkeeping to ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement) in accordance with applicable accounting standards (PFRS/IFRS or GAAP).
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor outstanding checks to maintain cash accuracy.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of subsidiary ledgers (SL) with the general ledger (GL) and maintain clean books.
