Responsibilities

for this STE5 Examiner role are:
  • Carry out building and structural surveys and inspections across the Western region.
  • Lead and complete examinations in line with Network Rail standards and relevant legislation.
  • Accurately assess building conditions, identify defects, and recommend remedial actions.
  • Undertake possession work and produce high-quality condition assessment reports.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into Citadel and other reporting systems to meet contract KPIs.
  • Report any significant or urgent defects to the Operations and Delivery Managers.
  • Support and mentor junior staff members.
  • Maintain compliance with all Health & Safety requirements and key company procedures.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in building surveying, inspections, or asset management within rail or civil engineering sectors....
