Chief Steel Estimator

An AISC Erector and full-service Steel Construction company in the area is searching for a Senior Level Structural Steel Estimator. This AISC Fabricator and Erector installs heavy structural steel for the commercial construction industry. Due to continued growth our client company needs to hire a Chief Steel Estimator that has experience bidding heavy structural steel erection projects. Working experience with Tekla EPM and Bluebeam software is a plus.

Qualifications for Chief Steel Estimator:

• 10+ years of experience in the structural steel industry
• Project Experience on Heavy Steel Construction +5,000 Tons
• Knowledge of current AISC structural codes and standards
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
• Ability to calculate costs and prepare estimates
