Job Description: Steel Estimator
On behalf of our client, we have a rare and immediate opportunity for an experienced Steel Estimator.
Located in hull the client offers excellent opportunities for progression.
This is a Permanent role and not to be missed.
Salary:
£40,000
Job Duties:
Basic Function will be to analyse incoming Enquiries ..
Produce Material lists ,
Calculate weight of steel ,
Price up Steel raw material
Price up sub contract works , eg , paint , transport , machining , misc bought in items
Estimate Man Hours for the Manufacture
Put together to cost Estimate.
Produce Detailed Written Commercial / Technical Quototion .
Liase with potential client .
Experience:
Experienced engineering and steel fabrication estimator with a proven industry track record
Ability to read fabrication drawings .
Understanding of processes , eg , Cutting of Steel , Welding , assembly ..
