**Position Overview:**
Competently performs standardized instrument processing and decontamination to prevent the spread of infection, illness or disease. Works independently, exercising sound judgment to support the functionality of the department by disinfecting and distributing supplies and performing equipment maintenance, testing, and setup as needed. Integrates education and technical competence to execute safe and precise sterilization procedures. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety to help deliver optimal patient care.

**This position is for evening hours and classified as the following: late shift, which will cover evenings and later into the night; however, it is not an overnight role.**
