About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Sterling Development and Support Consultant to take ownership of developing, customizing, integrating, and supporting our IBM Sterling solutions. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our B2 B integration landscape is stable, scalable, and aligned with business needs. This position involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and operations through the entire project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the IBM Sterling B2 B Lead Developer, interacting with customers for requirements, creating technical designs, performing code changes/reviews, and managing deployments across environments.
- Own all phases of the SDLC project lifecycle (inception to go-live) using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Perform development and admin tasks for Sterling B2 B Integrator: creating Business Processes, Maps, Trading Partner setups, PGP setups, certificate management, adapter configuration, log analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Configure engines, adapters, certificates in Sterling Secure Proxy Configuration Manager, and manage schedules/alerts in Sterling Control Center.
- Author Mapping Requirements Specification (MRS) documents from scratch.
- Conduct troubleshooting, housekeeping, and administrative activities for Sterling B2 B Integrator, resolving mapping and translation errors.
- Raise and manage PMRs with IBM to resolve critical technical issues.
- Perform installations, upgrades, and configurations of SBI, Control Center, Secure Proxy, Configuration Manager, External Authentication Server, and Perimeter Servers.
- Work with various communication protocols: SFTP, AS2, VAN, HTTP(S), FTP(S), SMTP, MQ, XCOM, and Connect Direct.
