Job Description
The Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for supervising the stewarding team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all kitchen and back-of-house areas. This role supports smooth kitchen operations by maintaining equipment, enforcing hygiene standards, and ensuring compliance with IHG brand standards, local regulations, and hotel policies.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Supervise daily stewarding operations, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of kitchens, stores, back-of-house areas, and F&B outlets
- Ensure proper use, cleaning, storage, and maintenance of kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware
- Monitor dishwashing and waste management processes to ensure efficiency and hygiene compliance
- Enforce food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards in line with local regulations and IHG policies
