Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Storage Administrator with hands-on expertise in SAN/NAS technologies and data center storage operations. The ideal candidate will have deep understanding and practical knowledge of enterprise-level storage systems, replication setup, and system health management.
Key Responsibilities
- Allocate and deallocate storage on SAN/NAS (Hitachi, NetApp, IBM FlashSystem, HP3PAR, etc.).
- Perform routine SAN/NAS health checks.
- Administer Director Class SAN and perform system diagnostics.
- Design and implement FC SAN fabrics with a strong understanding of FC and NAS protocols.
- Monitor storage pool utilization and performance KPIs.
- Monitor and respond to storage alerts (hardware and volume-related).
- Conduct impact assessments for storage array maintenance, including upgrades and hardware replacements.
- Collaborate with VMware and UNIX teams for multipathing validation and remediation.
