Job SummaryReceive goods and materials as per purchase orders and delivery challans. Verify quantity, quality, and specifications of received items. Arrange and store items properly in designated storage areas. Issue materials against authorized requisitions and maintain proper documentation. Maintain accurate stock records, bin cards, and inventory registers. Assist in periodic stock counts and audits. Ensure FIFO / FEFO practices are followed where applicable. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area. Identify damaged, expired, or slow-moving items and report to the Storekeeper. Coordinate with departments for timely material issue and replenishment. Assist in preparing indents and stock replenishment requests. Follow safety, hygiene, and security procedures at all times. Handle basic computer entries in inventory management systems (if applicable). Support store operations during peak periods or audits. Skills & Competencies Basic knowledge of inventory and store operations. Attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Basic computer literacy (MS Excel, inventory systems). Ability to work in a team and follow instructions. Honest, reliable, and disciplined. Qualifications & Experience 10+2 / Diploma or equivalent. 1–3 years of experience in store operations (hotel/retail preferred). Knowledge of material handling and storage practices is an advantage. Working Conditions Shift-based work, including weekends and holidays. Manual handling of materials and standing for long hours.
