Job Description

Responsibilities:Receiving Goods: Receive incoming materials and goods, verify quantities against purchase orders and delivery notes, and inspect for any damages or discrepancies.Storing Goods: Properly store materials and goods in designated locations within the store/warehouse, ensuring easy access and retrieval while maintaining optimal storage conditions.Issuing Goods: Issue materials and goods to authorized personnel based on requisitions or work orders, ensuring accurate quantities are provided and proper documentation is maintained.Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, both manually and electronically, tracking stock levels, movements, and locations. Conduct regular stock checks and participate in periodic inventory counts.Order Placement Assistance: Assist the Store Manager in identifying low stock levels and generating purchase requests or order suggestions.Maintaining Store/Warehouse: Ensure the store/warehouse is clean, organized, and safe at all times. Implement and follow proper housekeeping procedures.Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods, inventory levels, and stock movements.Data Entry: Enter inventory data into computer systems accurately and efficiently.Handling Damaged or Returned Goods: Process damaged or returned goods according to established procedures.Liaising with Suppliers and Internal Teams: Communicate with suppliers regarding deliveries and discrepancies. Interact with internal departments (., production, maintenance) regarding material requests and availability, potentially in Marathi and Hindi.Operating Material Handling Equipment (If Applicable): Operate basic material handling equipment such as hand trucks or pallet jacks safely (training will be provided if required).Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures within the store/warehouse.
