Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:


- Manage and oversee all facets of the daily operations of the store.
- As appropriate to the position, participate in the development of operating goals and objectives for the store; recommend and implement methods and procedures to enhance operations.
- Ensure that the store reaches sales expectations and increases profits.
- Ensure sales proceeds are deposited as per company policy.

- Ensure proper maintenance of the cash safe in the store.

- Operate cash register when needed.

- Control the daily sales activities of the store and send the daily sales to designated departments.

- Make re-ordering in time and implement the distribution strategy as proposed by the commercial department.

- Handle the receiving of merchandise and control of the store inventory.

- Ensure proper display of merchandise as per VM standards, requirements and guidelines.
- Handle returns, buybacks and exchanges of gifts, as appropriate; coordinate the return and replacement of defective merchandise.
- Oversee implementation of sales, promotions and special offers in the store.

- Ensure excellent customer service, maintain positive relationships with customers and handle customers’ complaints and problems.

- Follow-up on the implementation of all CRM initiatives (loyalty programs, etc…).

Provide information about products and services.

- Build product awareness and create interest with potential and existing customers.

- Ensure proper maintenance of the store and the safeguarding of the company assets (equipment, fixtures, fitting etc…)

- Ensure that all team members abide by the company policies, procedures and regulations (including uniforms, hygiene and general appearance).

- Supervise the store team, which includes work schedules and managing leaves, problem resolution and training of new sales officers.

- Manage, train and objectively evaluate team members.

- Make recommendations for team members concerning promotion and salary review.
- Conduct regular meetings with sales team members to coach, motivate and guide
- Present a neat appearance in uniform as prescribed by the orientation booklet.

- Be familiar with and follow-up the company orientation booklet guidelines.

-Ensure adherence to company policies.
