Principle Accountabilities
Receive and execute instructions and decisions from management of technical divisionResponsible for proper control of all stored itemsAssist in timely reconciliation of general ledger accounts related to storesParticipate with the staff in operations & technical in the development of preventive maintenance plans and schedules based on OEM recommendations and local operational conditions.Participate with the planning function in the maintenance of Computerized Maintenance Management System.Responsible for organizing uniforms and safety gear as per policy of APMTMonitors receiving activities, stock storing, and inventory issues.Ensures appropriate documents are completed, such as store demands, goods received forms and requisition papers.Monitors minimum/maximum stock level of items.Monitors fast moving, slow moving and non-moving spares and takes appropriate actions.Supervise stores staff ensuring adherence to established procedures, and conformance with stock keeping standards.Carry out audits of stores. Produce related audit reports, evaluate findings and evaluate improvements to be implemented into the maintenance management systemResponsible for receiving original certificates for parts where deemed necessaryResponsible that procedures, storage conditions and practices comply with company and regulatory requirements.Responsible for obtaining quality reports from the supplierCollaborate with technical section to establish specifications and to monitor quality and performance of stocks services.Ensures that stock items are received, preserved, stored and delivered with limited or no lossResponsible for the maintenance of the stock filing systemEnsure parts and consumables are made available for preventive maintenance.Contribute to the continuous improvement process and to the meeting of business objectives. This includes providing suggestions and input to changes and improvements in all policies and proceduresCRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering from recognized institution.Further diploma/Certificate in Management Studies, Materials Management or Industrial Management will be preferredA minimum of 3-4 years experience in materials control and warehousingWorking knowledge of techniques and methods employed in the maintenance of heavy & complex equipment and machinesSound knowledge of the handling and storage of engineering materials, electronic equipment and dangerous goodsFamiliarity with various types of spare parts and their applicationSound knowledge of inventory management techniquesFamiliarity with various types of safety gear and their applicationSound knowledge of inventory safety techniquesFamiliarity with stores accountingMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
