Job Description
Saccal is currently seeking to a hire a STOREKEEPER.
Duties & Responsibilities
•Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or shipment to customers
• Unpack, label, and store incoming goods in designated locations
• Maintain accurate records of inventory
• Monitor stock and reorder supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Conduct regular stock counts and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records
• Conduct routine quality checks on products to identify damaged or expired items
• Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of equipment – spare parts used in the storage and handling of inventory
• Report any equipment– spare parts malfunctions for prompt repairs or replacements
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and warehouse procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
• Proven experience as a Store Keeper or similar role
• Familiarity with inventory management software and systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
