Overview

The store/inventory role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and properly storing incoming goods and materials; maintaining accurate inventory records; issuing materials upon authorized requests; monitoring stock levels; and coordinating with procurement and other departments to support stock-related needs.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming goods and materials.
  • Maintain organized and accurate inventory records using manual logs or inventory software.
  • Issue materials or products upon authorized request and maintain records of issued items.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies when necessary to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory checks and reconcile with records.
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of items to prevent damage or loss.
  • Prepare reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and discrepancies.
