**Summary/General Description Of Job:**
The Storekeeper receives, stores, issues, orders and records store items and hazardous materials in a warehouse.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
+ Performs all the functions of receiving, storing, issuing, ordering, recording, and checking store items and hazardous materials in a store or warehouse where the flow of work requires one or more Storekeepers.
+ Expedites the flow of supply of parts, tools, and material for a shop or subcontractor as well as coordinates supply action between departments or work sections.
+ Receipts for material, arriving via commercial carriers, unloads, checks-in, and processes related documentation.
+ Checks for damage and coordinates the resolution of discrepancies or may process claims for freight damage.
+ May perform check-in and issue out of tools and equipment.
+ Researches and identifies compatible/incompatible chemicals for correct storage and provides MSDS informa...
