Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly and monthly stock checks, ensuring all items are accurately recorded.
• Verify deliveries to the workshop and maintain proper documentation for inventory control.
• Issue Job Sheets/Material Request Forms (MRF) daily for truck repairs and provide the correct spare parts.
• Ensure all received stock is in good, usable condition.
• Monitor tire records, including serial numbers, for stock in and out.
• Inspect used or rejected tires and record serial numbers prior to disposal.
• Review mechanics’ toolbox lists monthly.
• Perform fire extinguisher inspections every two months, ensuring functionality and monitoring expiry dates.
• Check safety equipment in trucks when drivers leave, ensuring items are in proper working condition.
