We are seeking a Storekeeper and Relief Kitchen Porter to join our Catering Department at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals.

In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering goods to our catering areas in Preston and Chorley using our tail lift vehicle. You'll also play a key part in receiving, checking, and storing catering deliveries.

Additionally, this position involves providing relief support in the catering store or main kitchen, assisting the kitchen portering team when needed.

Main duties of the job

The role is varied and does involve physical work including moving and handling working in chilled/cold storage area and walk in freezer rooms but protective uniform will be provided.
