About the Role
Working within our stores and logistics function, your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and checking deliveries against documentation
- Packing, preparing and dispatching NDT equipment , rope access gear , and measuring/inspection tools
- Maintaining accurate stock records, asset registers and equipment tracking
- Ensuring equipment is correctly stored, labelled, and traceable
- Coordinating and managing the inventory that is on site at all times to support operational readiness
- Supporting equipment mobilisation and returns, including verifying contents and condition
- Conducting stock counts, audits and equipment readiness checks
- General stores duties, housekeeping, and safe manual handling
Equipment Cleaning, Care & Basic Maintenance
A key aspect of this role is ensuring equipment is clean, functional and ready for use, including:
- Cleaning, checking and preparing equipment before dispatch and after return
- Performing basic maintenance checks and identifying damage, wear, or missing components
- Ensuring rope access equipment is stored correctly to prevent deterioration and maintain compliance
- Flagging equipment requiring repair, service or replacement and coordinating follow‑up actions
- Maintaining a tidy, organised and compliant equipment storage environment
Calibration & Controlled Equipment Management
You will also play an important role in maintaining compliance for controlled equipment, including:
- Managing equipment calibration schedules and ensuring items remain within calibration
- Monitoring and maintaining calibration due dates for measuring and inspection equipment
- Coordinating calibration requirements with internal stakeholders and external providers
- Maintaining records for calibration certificates, traceability and controlled equipment status
- Flagging upcoming calibration due dates early and ensuring minimal downtime to operations
Essential Requirements (Must Have)
- Full Australian working rights (ongoing eligibility to work in Australia)
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Experience handling NDT equipment (e.g. UT, MPI, DPI, RT support equipment, consumables, inspection kits)
- Experience handling rope access equipment (e.g. harnesses, ropes, lanyards, connectors, fall‑arrest and work‑positioning equipment)
- Experience handling precision measuring/inspection equipment (e.g. gauges, micrometers, calipers, test instruments, calibration‑controlled tools)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and documentation
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities across a part‑time schedule
- No forklift licence required.
Highly Regarded (Preferred)
- Experience using EZYID (asset / equipment tracking system)
- Experience managing calibration dates , certificates, and controlled equipment readiness
- Stores/warehouse experience in industrial, inspection, engineering, offshore, oil & gas, or mining services
- Strong computer skills (inventory systems, asset registers, Excel)
- Understanding of inspection intervals, certification, and traceability for rope access and controlled equipment
Hours & Work Pattern
- 3 days per week (set days or negotiable depending on operational needs)
- Typical hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm (hours are negotiable for the right candidate)
- Additional shifts may be available during busy periods (optional)
