Stores & Logistics Lead
First Achieve Engineering are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, high-precision manufacturing business with operations across the UK and Europe.
We are looking for an experienced Stores & Logistics Lead to take ownership of the stores function at the Basildon site. This is a hands-on leadership role, supporting manufacturing operations through accurate stock control, efficient logistics processes, and strong team leadership.
The Role
You will be responsible for the smooth running of the stores and logistics operation, ensuring materials are received, stored, issued, and despatched accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all stores and logistics operations at the Basildon facility
Receive and check deliveries for quantity, revision, condition, and certification compliance
Ensure FIFO stock rotation and inventory accuracy
