Job Description

To oversee and carry out the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of all materials.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in running or managing a stores operation, with strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate stock control and smooth work flow throughout the goods in and goods out process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the receipt, inspection, and booking-in of all incoming goods and materials.
  • Ensure all deliveries are checked against purchase orders and recorded accurately in the inventory system (Simpro)
  • Organise and store materials in the correct locations, maintaining clear labelling and stock rotation practices.
  • Pick, pack, label up and prepare outgoing goods for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Ensure the returns process is followed correctly and promptly.
  • Complete regular cycle counts of stock.
