We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Storyboard Artist to bring ideas to life through compelling visual narratives. In this role, you will translate scripts, concepts, and creative briefs into clear, engaging storyboards that define visual flow, pacing, composition, and emotion. You will collaborate closely with directors, writers, designers, animators, and production teams to ensure creative alignment and storytelling clarity across projects.

This role is ideal for someone who understands cinematic language, visual storytelling, and can balance creativity with production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality storyboards for films, animations, commercials, digital content, explainer videos, and branded storytelling projects.
• Interpret scripts, briefs, and creative discussions to visualize scenes, shots, transitions, camera angles, and character movements.
• Develop shot-by-shot sequences that clearly communicate narrative flow, timing, framing, and mood.
• Collaborate with creative directors, writers, animators, and editors to refine visual concepts and storytelling approaches.
• Revise and iterate storyboards based on feedback while maintaining creative intent and production timelines.
• Ensure storyboards align with brand guidelines, tone, target audience, and project objectives.
• Support pre-production planning by providing visual references that aid animation, filming, or post-production teams.
• Maintain consistency in character design, environments, perspective, and visual continuity across sequences.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional experience as a Storyboard Artist, Visual Artist, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, cinematography, composition, and pacing .
• Proficiency in storyboarding tools and software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, Storyboard Pro, or similar.
• Solid drawing skills with the ability to sketch quickly and clearly convey ideas.
• Good grasp of camera angles, shot types, transitions, and scene continuity .
• Ability to visualize abstract ideas and convert them into structured visual narratives.
• Strong communication skills to explain creative choices and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to accept feedback constructively and iterate efficiently.
• A strong portfolio showcasing storyboards, sequential art, or visual narratives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on animation, video production, advertising, or digital media projects .
• Basic understanding of animation principles or film production workflows.
• Familiarity with different storytelling styles (cinematic, commercial, digital-first).
