Role Overview

We are looking for a high-impact Strategic Business Development Manager to drive growth for our Consulting and Staffing services in India. This role focuses on new client acquisition , with a strong emphasis on the GCC and Captives market . The ideal candidate will have strong IT services sales expertise, a consultative approach, and proven success in onboarding new logos.

Key Responsibilities

1) Business Growth & Sales

  • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients for IT Consulting Services and Staffing solutions , especially across the GCC and Captive segments
  • Own the complete sales cycle: prospecting β†’ qualification β†’ proposal β†’ negotiation β†’ closure
  • Build a healthy pipeline through:
  • Market research and outbound prospecting
  • Networking and industry events
  • Partner ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets

2) Client Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with CXOs, CIOs, CTOs, VPs, and IT Directors
  • Understand client business challenges, goals, and tech landscape to recommend tailored service offerings
  • Conduct regular client reviews and drive cross-sell / upsell opportunities to maximize account revenue

3) Solutioning & Proposal Management

  • Collaborate with Pre-sales and Delivery teams to create:
  • Proposals and solution decks
  • RFP/RFI responses
  • Commercial models and pricing strategies
  • Ensure solutions align with client expectations on delivery, scalability, timelines, and cost
  • Present company capabilities, success stories, and case studies to stakeholders

4) Market & Industry Intelligence

  • Track market trends, competitor movements, and emerging technologies
  • Provide strategic insights to leadership to support service enhancements and go-to-market initiatives

5) Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing on campaigns, lead generation, and brand positioning
  • Coordinate with Delivery, Finance, and HR for smooth onboarding and execution of won projects

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Business Development / Sales with strong success in acquiring new clients
  • Strong knowledge of India-based clientele , particularly across GCC and Captives markets
  • Must have prior experience onboarding new logos in the GCC/Captive segment
  • Strong technical sales capability to confidently engage in pre-sales discussions around:
  • Generative AI | Machine Learning | Data Engineering | Cloud | DevOps | Automation
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in:
  • Revenue forecasting
  • Margin analysis
  • Financial plans and estimates using Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet targets

Sales & Stakeholder Skills

  • Strong pipeline management and deal closure expertise
  • Experience working with senior leadership: CIO / CTO / VP IT / CXO
  • Strong presentation skills and proposal writing capability

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business / Engineering / related field preferred)
  • MBA is a plus
  • 10+ years of experience in IT services sales / business development / account management with exposure to India domestic staffing preferred
