The Strategic Partnerships Manager will be responsible for acquiring, onboarding, and scaling brand partnerships across key consumer categories including FMCG, e-commerce, D2C, fashion, lifestyle, F&B, and consumer technology.

This role owns the complete partner lifecycle—from prospecting and contracting to campaign activation, account growth, and retention. You will serve as the primary point of contact for brand partners in India and collaborate closely with the Country Head to shape the India market strategy and inform the product roadmap based on local market insights.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Acquisition & Partnerships (Primary KRA)

  • Identify, prospect, and convert high-potential brands across priority categories.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of senior marketing stakeholders including CMOs, brand managers, growth and performance teams.
  • Own end-to-end partnership negotiations covering pricing, SLAs, legal contracts, and onboarding.
  • Deliver predictable and consistent monthly acquisition targets.

2. Campaign Activation & Adoption

  • Ensure newly onboarded brands launch their first campaigns within defined timelines.
  • Partner with internal operations and product teams to configure campaigns, track performance, and resolve issues.
  • Maintain complete visibility of live campaigns and proactively identify and remove blockers.

3. Strategic Account Management & Growth

  • Manage a portfolio of strategic brand accounts with a focus on retention, renewals, and partner satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular check-ins, quarterly business reviews, and performance discussions with brand stakeholders.
  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities by introducing new features and use cases.
  • Share campaign analytics, consumer insights, and performance recommendations to demonstrate ROI.

4. Market Intelligence & Product Feedback

  • Act as the voice of Indian brand partners by sharing feedback on features, localisation needs, and user experience.
  • Track industry trends, competitive offerings, and category movements to inform India-specific strategy.
  • Collaborate with product and global teams to influence feature development and operational improvements.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with operations, data, community, and product teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Partner with marketing teams on co-branded initiatives, PR stories, case studies, and success narratives.
  • Coordinate with finance teams on invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation.

Candidate Profile

Must-Have Experience

  • 4–7+ years of experience in partnerships, brand sales, or key account management (B2B or B2C).
  • Experience working with marketing or growth teams in FMCG, D2C, retail, e-commerce, or ad-tech environments.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, influencer/UGC ecosystems, and brand performance metrics.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Nice-to-Have

  • Prior experience in influencer platforms, ad-tech, mar-tech, SaaS, or consumer-tech.
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort interpreting dashboards and campaign data.
  • Understanding of creator economy dynamics, performance marketing, or brand storytelling.
