Strategic Sourcing & Purchasing Executive

Responsibilities

• To work with respective department in identifying the right source of supplies to support Manufacturing.
• To source for reliable material to meet in-house requirements at the optimum cost.
• To monitor supplier delivery performance and follow delivery schedule.
• To constantly review and strengthen the supplier base in line with changing business and market environment.
• To review key suppliers performance on regular basis.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, and documentation for audit purposes.
• Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives.
• Identify new supplier, material and alternative sources to support business growth and reduce dependency risk.
• Collaborate with the production team to identify cost-saving opportunities.
