Why CompuCom? (Overview):
The Strategic Sourcing Specialist is responsible for negotiating contracts, improving processes and reducing overall total cost of ownership. This role will also be creating category strategies while compiling and analyzing statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives/strategies. Analyzing suppliers’ operations to determine factors that affect price and determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meeting required schedules. Review proposals, negotiate prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyze trends, approve order placement, and maintain necessary records.
What We Need & What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- Lead the contract negotiation process, negotiating pricing, key terms, service level requirements, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and other performance metrics
- Manage the contract review process, obtaining the appropriate approvals prior to execution
