Strategic Sourcing Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Associate Strategic Sourcing– Procurement Services to support our clients with end-to-end sourcing solutions. This role involves managing multiple procurement projects simultaneously, performing due diligence, analyzing proposals, and supporting various sourcing activities aligned with client strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage 7–12 simple or intermediate sourcing projects (RFP, RFQ, RFI) simultaneously.
• Support teammates with RFx development, NDA management, spend data analysis, and proposal summarization.
• Validate project requests, identify missing requirements, and coordinate with requestors for clarification.
• Prepare bid packages, publish them to suppliers using eSourcing tools, and follow category strategy guidelines.
• Conduct supplier research and discovery as required.
• Analyze supplier proposals, prepare summaries, and present findings concisely to clients.
• Maintain project documentation, including spend and savings records, status updates, and compliance checks.
• Participate in peer reviews to ensure quality and adherence to WNS procurement methodology.
• Support other procurement services such as spend analysis, supplier performance management, and contract administration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience, including at least 6 years in procurement and sourcing.
• Deep expertise in at least 2 sourcing categories and good understanding of an additional 5–10 categories.
• Strong knowledge of pricing structures, cost analysis, bidding processes, and key vendor management.
