Role Purpose Create and lead a centrally anchored Strategy & Transformation capability from strategic direction setting to execution, adoption, and measurable impact. The role ensures consistency, alignment, and speed across strategy programs, while enabling Executive team to make cross-functional decisions based on unified insights and delivery visibility. Key Mandate & Scope Strategy & Transformation Objective: Provide a single point of accountability for selected strategic programs. Core responsibilities: Translate strategic priorities into actionable transformation roadmaps, ensure cross-functional alignment, and drive implementation to impact. Harmonize and coordinate fragmented Strategy & Transformation activities currently embedded in Commercial, Operations, LOB, CTO. Provide leadership team with clear visibility into risks, trade-offs, resource needs, and dependencies across functions for an informed and data-driven decision-making. Define a consistent operating rhythm, governance, and best practices for strategy execution. Ensure cross-functional initiatives are ambitious, realistic, and aligned with long-term value creation and strategy. Operating Model of the Future Objective: lead the development of the Operating Model of the Future, ensuring it is translated into concrete structural, process, and capability changes across the business. Core responsibilities: Diagnostic & Approach selection phase: Translate the Strategy into specific OM requirements, integrating leadership vision Diagnosis and mapping of current status across Structure, Process, Technology, Talent, Culture elements Change mandate confirmation Engage with consultants to review and challenge the initial thinking, key hypotheses, scope options Select the approach: consultant or internal based on: Speed-to-impact Internal bandwidth and capabilities Required depth of analysis and change management support Value-for-money considerations Design phase: Organize a program team with Design SMEs Formulation and alignment on purpose and measurable value – how operating model enables the strategy Design principles and boundaries Deep-dive on dimensions: Structure and governance – org archetypes, cross-functional interfaces Decision rights and ownerships Value Streams and processes Capabilities and Skills Performance management and KPIs structure Technology and Data enablement Culture and Ways of Working Financial case and value realization model Implementation planning and roadmap phase: Define the deployment methodology based on the mandate / capability Define phased implementation roadmap, aligned with strategy goals and planning cycles Co-design roadmap with HR, Finance, Commercial Ops, Execution SMEs Define success metrics, governance model, reporting Change management plan and communications Deployment phase: Organize temp Transformation Office for leading change 1-2 pilots for validation, feedback gathering and design refinement Scaling: Process & System integration Workforce and capability enablement Change management and communications Value realization and adoption What Success looks like (12-18 months) Clear, unified central strategy and transformation roadmap established (across assigned strategy chapters) Strategy capabilities strengthened across functions Scalable strategy execution institutionalized Operating Model of the future with full executive buy-in is completed and approved Operating Model pilots launched with early value captured Capability uplift program launched and aligned with OM design Operational and financial value is measurable, tracked, and attributed to strategy and transformation plan Required team / support 1 Strategy execution PMO: governance, cadence, reporting, program management model standards + support to the Program Owners 1 Transformation manager (Operating Model): governance, cadence, reporting; PMO for pilots and deployment 1 Change & Communications lead (Operating Model): program-limited in time, but fully dedicated resource to design and facilitate the plan 0,5 FTE Analyst (Operating Model) – good to have Looking to make an IMPACT with your career?
