Stress Engineer. (Derivatives, DRDO)

Job Description:

An opportunity for a Stress Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).

The department is in charge of Airbus Derivatives and Medium and Light Programs (Spain) and Mission Platform Systems (Manching). The team is multicultural and works in a multidisciplinary environment, as all programs require such a landscape.

The jobholder will reinforce our team, taking part in the definition and implementation of complex systems in Derivative Programs, with the main focus on the DRDO Project.

• Define and size structural parts.
• Develop methodologies and analysis to support the certification/qualification of the structure.
• Create the support documentation required.

• Educated in an Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in Stress Analysis.
