Job Description


Our client is currently seeking a Structural Design Engineer.


Responsibilities:
  • Perform analysis and design of structural systems for all types of building materials using various building codes and standards (i.e. IBC, IEBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, UFC).
  • Participate in field surveys and document existing conditions.
  • Communicate and coordinate with architects and engineers of other disciplines.
  • Review and evaluate existing building structural systems.
  • Prepare drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Write technical reports.
  • Review construction submittals, participate in construction observation, and respond to contractor inquiries.

    • Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (B.S.CE), Bachelor of Architectural Engineering (B.AE), or Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering (B.S.AE), or equivalent, with coursework specialized towards structural engineering
