    DRA are currently looking for Structural Designers - All levels. The roles will be offered on a full-time or ongoing casual basis based in our Brisbane CBD office. You will be involved with a diverse range of projects from concept studies, detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning within the mining and minerals processing sector.

    Brief Duties

  • Produce models and detailed technical drawings, in accordance with standards, policies and procedures
  • Communicate with the project team, provide updates, raise issues and attend team meetings
  • Deliver and contribute to practical solutions
  • Ensure project time and cost are met - monitor effectiveness of designs, scheduling of work, resource requirements and review compliance with project execution plan (schedule) and client expectations
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior team members
  • Demonstrate high standard of personal safety and safe design practices

    • About You

  • 5+ years relevant experience working on mining and minerals projects
  • Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent attitude, team focus and commitment towards safety
  • Proficiency in MicroStation design software highly desirable
  • Relevant Diploma or Associate Degree advantageous
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to work autonomously to deadlines
