Job Description:
The SR Structural Designer position requires + years heavy industrial/power plant experience.
Job responsibilities:
Producing D models and design drawings for structural steel, reinforced concrete, and/or ductwork, preparing layouts and conceptual designs.
Reviewing vendor shop fabrication drawings is a plus, preparing material take-offs and assist with cost estimates.
Coordinating work with other disciplines, clients, and contractors, and performing site walk-downs for field verification and to address constructability.
Skillsets and expertise required:
Proficient using AutoCAD, extensive D modelling and drawing creation experience is strongly preferred.
Experience with Advance Steel is preferred, steel and concrete detailing background is strongly preferred.
