Job Description
Position: Structural Draughtsman
WORK EXPERIENCE (Industry, Area of experience, Years of Experience)
5–10 years of experience in precast detailing for the real estate or construction industry , particularly on high-rise buildings.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
Comfortable working with design software (Auto CAD, Revit, Tekla, etc.) and reading complex blueprints. Capable of identifying potential design conflicts and offering practical, cost-effective solutions. Keeps up with advancements in design tools, materials, and construction technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare detailed shop drawings and erection plans for precast concrete elements including slabs, beams, columns, wall panels, staircases, and other structural components.
Develop 2 D and 3 D models using software such as Auto CAD, Revit, Tekla Structures (preferred), and Solid Works.
Coordinate closely with structural engineers, architects, MEP teams, and project managers to ensure design intent and integration.
