Job title: Structural Engineer Job Location: Greenville, South Carolina Job Duration: Full-time Permanent Role Salary: $80,000 per annum - flexible based on experience Interview Process: 1 round with 2-3 partners Job Description: Objective: Design cost-efficient structural systems in compliance with applicable building codes, safety standards, and client requirements. Design buildings, equipment foundations, and process support structures using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood. Perform structural assessments of existing facilities, coordinate with architectural, MEP, and OEM teams, conduct site inspections during construction, and support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling. Must haves 5 years experience in Structural Engineering Industrial and manufacturing background necessary - not residential The candidate either already holds a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or is eligible and able to obtain licensure Typical Projects: Light and heavy manufacturing facilities, structures, and machine foundations K–12 and collegiate educational facilities, sports arenas, and stadiums Power and utility, water and wastewater facilities Municipal and civic projects, office buildings, medical facilities, hospitals, and ecclesiastical buildings Key Responsibilities & Skills: Prepare technical reports Manage and collaborate with designers and junior engineers Coordinate with owners, architects, and contractors on design-build and design-bid projects Strong written and verbal communication skills required High level of self-motivation, discipline, and technical expertise Tools & Software: Structural software: RISA, Enercalc, Tekla Tedds, HILTI PROFIS Drafting platforms: AutoCAD and Revit Structure Note: Values work experience over education, B.S. in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering degree not required with RELEVANT experience. Relocation assistance may be considered for candidates with strong relevant experience.
