Structural Geologist

Required Qualifications:

• Possession of a M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in Geology or Earth Science in one of the following disciplines: structural geology or basin analysis.
• Required experience with Petrel (or equivalent modeling applications); familiarity with seismic interpretation and fault mapping, familiarity with advanced data analysis tools is beneficial.
• Proven experience in fault framework analysis, generation of structural cross-sections and structural maps.
• Prior relevant experience working with subsurface data and integrating multi-disciplinary datasets.
• Experience in customer support, with an understanding of subsurface business needs, and the ability to collaborate effectively across different time zones.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of Geomechanics with focus on Stress and Strain analysis, Rock Mechanics, and Fluid Flow.
• Relevant prior experience in collaborating with other disciplines, in particular basin modeling, reservoir modeling, or reservoir engineering.
• Relevant prior experience in at least one aspect of integrated reservoir characterization workflows (i.e., stratigraphy, reservoir quality, biostratigraphy, basin analysis).
• Relevant experience with integrating Petrophysical datasets, with prior experience of Petrophysical platforms (Techlog) being advantageous but not required.
• Prior experience with image log interpretation and post-interpretation analysis is advantageous but not required.
