Job Description:

A position for a Structural Health Monitoring Engineering has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe in Structural Integrity & Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) team. Mainly for tactical and transport aircraft .

TASK RESPONSIBILITIES

As the successful candidate your principle activities will include:

• Support design th SHM for new and existing aircraft

• Support certification and qualification activities regarding to SHM.

• Support Services to arrange, validate and process all the raw data.

• Perform regular usage monitoring reports and presentations.

• Perform regular fatigue assessment reports and present the results to the customer, make decisions for fleet maintenance actions and fleet usage recommendations.

• Investigation of special events (i.e. hard landings, load exceedances…)
