Job Title: Structural & Payload Design Engineer 4
Location: North Charleston, SC
Job Summary:
Join our client in North Charleston, SC, as a Structural & Payload Design Engineer 4. You'll play a key role in managing airplane interior systems, from design to production, ensuring top-notch quality and compliance with industry standards. This is a 100% onsite position with a focus on innovation and excellence in the aerospace sector.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish system design.
• Conduct tests to validate and verify that systems and components meet specifications.
• Coordinate with suppliers to optimize design and achieve program goals.
• Support production floor during complex builds.
• Innovate new design processes and tools to enhance development efficiency.
• Utilize 3-D CAD tools to develop and modify payload system designs.
Skills Required:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 9+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in 3-D modeling software (e.g., CATIA, SOLIDWORKS).
• Experience in cross-functional engineering and production teams.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with FAA Title 14 Part 25 regulations.
