Tekla Designer/Modeler Job Description
Company-into Oil and Gas Offshore and Onshore projects
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- 3D Modeling: Create detailed 3D models of steel structures using Tekla Structures software.
- Drawing Generation: Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings, erection drawings, and shop drawings for fabrication.
- Industry Focus: Specifically work on structural steel for Oil & Gas, offshore platforms, and potentially Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB).
- Clash Detection: Perform inter-disciplinary clash checks (with piping, electrical, etc.) to ensure a clash-free model.
- Material Take-off (MTO): Generate accurate reports, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and bolt lists.
- Coordination: Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and timelines.
