PTW is hiring Structural Steel Fitter's and/or Metal Fabricators for work in our Calgary fabrication facility. If you are available, we want to hear from you!

GOOD TO KNOW

  • Monday-Friday shift with opportunities to work weekends for extra overtime
  • 8-10 hour days
  • Day and night shift available

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Studies engineering drawings and blueprints, determines the materials required and plans the sequence of tasks to cut metal most efficiently.
  • Prepares materials prior to assembly.
  • Lays out reference points and patterns on heavy metal according to component specifications.
  • Rigs, hoists and moves materials to storage areas or within worksite.
  • Sets up and operates various heavy‑duty metal‑working machines such as cutting torches, grinders and drills, and punch.
