**We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder with expertise in Mig Pulse and Flux Core Welding to join our team. You would be**
**responsible for welding on the next generation of the naval fleet, focusing on aircraft carriers and submarines.**
Job is located in Newport News, Virginia! Per diem for travelers!
Responsibilities:
+ Perform multi-pass, all-position fillet and butt welds using GMAW, FCAW, and GMAW-P processes.
+ Utilize Air Carbon Arc Gouging effectively.
+ Work in various environments including shipboard and sub-assemblies, adhering to OSHA regulations.
+ Use fillet and butt weld gauges accurately.
+ Successfully pass all position, multi-pass butt weld qualification tests as per MIL-STD-248D standards.
Essential Skills:
+ Four years of welding experience.
+ Proficiency in SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GMAW-P welding processes.
