PURPOSE
Under the general direction of a district's Student Information Systems Lead, the Student Information Systems Specialist exercises independent judgment and is responsible for supporting the evaluation, coordination, implementation, customization, training and software support of the District's Student Information System (SIS) and related software.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary function of a Student Information Systems Specialist is to assist in a variety of support tasks in the operation and maintenance of the SIS for the benefit of the school district. This employee is responsible for supporting the user interface, data input quality, reports, security, training, and documentation for all student information system services including but not limited to registration, scheduling, and reporting software.
