Position Information Job Title Student Lab Assistant Position Type Student Division Academic Affairs Department Engineering Job Description The Student Lab Assistant job requires duties to be performed in a very precise and accurate manner. The DLH Department of Engineering is looking for responsible, organized, and self-motivated students to work in the Hunter Strain Engineering Lab. Student Lab Assistants may work no more than hours per week during the Fall and Spring semesters.


Job Duties and ExpectationsStudent workers will:
  • Prepare materials and assemble, disassemble, clean and store equipment needed for individual and group laboratory experiments

  • Test new equipment and ensure functionality.

  • Do general maintenance and clean up of all lab stations and other indicated areas

  • Provide clerical support for lab instruction and maintain lab supplies stock.
