Job Description

We are accepting applications for two full-time Planner – Long Range students to join our team for a four-month term beginning in May. Reporting to the Manager Long Range Planning and Sustainability, the primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assisting with gathering and analyzing data for various long-range planning and sustainability projects (e.g. local area plan, climate action, adaptation planning, transportation planning);

  • Supporting the development of community engagement strategies for long-range planning, climate change, and sustainability initiatives (e.g. energy efficiency rebate programs, local area plan);

  • Under the supervision of the manager, drafting reports, briefing memos, and other correspondence on long-range planning, climate change, and sustainability projects;
