Job Description

EU Business School is seeking a senior‑level Career Services & Talent Development Officer for our Alumni & Student Careers department.

This senior role will be responsible for overseeing key events and initiatives aimed at enhancing student career prospects, including Business Immersion Week, company visits, and networking events, while managing the internship program and fostering strong partner engagement with corporate stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Internship Program Management

Oversee the complete lifecycle of the internship program, from sourcing and matching internship opportunities to supporting students throughout their placements. Coordinate with company partners, students, and internal departments to ensure smooth and successful internship experiences and alignment between student profiles and partner needs.

Student Support and Talent Development

Provide personalized support for students, helping them navigate their career paths, develop professional skills, and secure internships and job placements. Offer one‑on‑one coaching sessions, organize workshops and training on resume writing, interview preparation, networking techniques, and personal branding, and ensure students are prepared to present themselves effectively to potential employers.

Partner Engagement

Lead efforts to engage and maintain relationships with corporate partners. Ensure ongoing collaboration through internship opportunities, company visits, and networking events, and explore new partnership opportunities to expand student placements and career services initiatives.

Event Coordination

Assist with the planning and execution of all events hosted by the Career Services department.

  • Business Immersion Week – co‑coordination of logistics of this flagship event, offering a seamless experience for both students and corporate partners to ensure that students gain practical industry insights.
  • Company Visits & Networking Events – organize student visits to partner companies, coordinate logistics and ensure high‑impact engagement for students.
Data Tracking & Reporting

Track and report on the outcomes of the internship program, events, and partnerships. Provide data‑driven insights to improve future activities and foster greater student and partner engagement.

Qualifications & Experience

Professional with at least 3 years of experience in career services, event management, corporate relations, or a related field. Experience in providing career coaching and managing internship programs in an educational setting is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both with students and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Languages

Fluency in English and basic Spanish is required. Any other language would be a strong asset.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, event management, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
