Job Description Job Title: Student Worker - Admin Suite Student Assistant Job Classification: Administrative and Office Services, Student Department: University Libraries Hiring Manager: Janell Wellbaum Contact: [email protected] Work Schedule: 10 hours a week, 8am-5pm, M-F Flexible working hours Desired Length of Employment: Fall/Ongoing Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour Key Components: In a student employee capacity, may perform or assist with similar functions of an administrative associate or office manager. Job Description: Student will assist with daily office tasks in the Dean's Suite Complete general office duties; assist with special events/projects as assigned Ability to maintain confidentiality; strong verbal and written communication skills; motivated self-starter Starting pay is 10.00 an hour with possibility of raise each year of employment Other duties may include: Greet visitors with excellent customer service Provide general office, administrative, or clerical support May assist with handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, including phone calls, messages and mail May assist with routing and resolving questions or information requests May assist with document preparation, filing, office records Ensure confidentiality of all pertinent information May assist with office supplies and organization of common areas May assist with data entry tasks, spreadsheets and reports Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission Ability to comply with University policies Maintain regular and punctual attendance Employer: Baylor University Work Location: Moody Library, Garden Level, Dean's Suite Work Address: 1312 S 3rd St, Waco, TX 76798
