Role Overview
We are seeking an Accounting Subject Matter Expert (SME) to collaborate with our Learning Design team in developing 1- to 3-hour courses focused on the Payroll Cycle and regulatory compliance. The role involves translating complex payroll regulations into structured educational content.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Curriculum Collaboration:
- Partner with Lead IDs to create content outlines for courses on the payroll processing journey, from gross pay calculation to tax filing (Form 941).
- Select and curate appropriate sources/content for each course skill/lesson/learning objectives as needed.
- Validate the time-on-task (ToT) for each instructional component.
Instructional Material:
- Write instructional content as needed: case studies, concept guides, interactive scripts
- Write anecdotes to form real-world connections with the concepts being taught
- Support the creation of slide decks and demonstration videos for payroll software, such as K...
