About the Role:

Digital Realty is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for Central Europe (DACH and Croatia) to lead strategic enterprise engagements across the EMEA region. This senior, customer-facing role combines deep technical expertise with business acumen to drive hybrid IT, cloud, interconnection, and AI-enabled solutions for large enterprise customers.

You will act as a trusted advisor to CIOs, enterprise architects, and IT leaders—shaping long-term digital transformation strategies through executive briefings, architecture workshops, and technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead executive briefings, solution design workshops, and whiteboarding sessions for enterprise customers
  • Architect hybrid IT solutions across public/private cloud, data center infrastructure, and high-performance interconnect
  • Advise on workload placement, application modernization, and infrastructure transformation
  • Deliver thought leadership at customer events, webinars, and industry forums
  • Mentor internal sales and technical teams and influence go-to-market strategy
  • Your Profile:

  • 10+ years enterprise IT or architecture experience and 5+ years in pre-sales, consulting, or strategic advisory roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Master’s or MBA preferred)
  • Cloud and enterprise IT certifications strongly preferred
  • Enterprise IT architecture (servers, storage, virtualization, HCI, data center operations)
  • Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, and private cloud
  • Networking & interconnect: leaf-spine, SDN, MPLS, private connectivity
  • Infrastructure automation and orchestration (Terraform, Ansible, OpenStack, vRealize)
  • AI infrastructure and enterprise AI integration concepts (MLOps, GPUs, data governance)
  • Fluent in English and German, with the ability to communicate effectively at executive and technical levels; additional European languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
