Job Description

The Subsurface Utility Engineering Technician is responsible for providing underground utility flagging with proficiency using electromagnet equipment and other geophysical means. The role involves designating all utility line types, including conductive and non-conductive materials such as water, sewer, gas, electric, fiber optic, PVC, and other underground facilities that could affect site excavation. The technician marks utilities with flags and/or paint and produces a sketch of results for future use.
