Job description: Whitehaven Coal is seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent of Field Maintenance to oversee operations at our Blackwater Mine.

About the Role:

As the Superintendent of Field Maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable maintenance of heavy equipment at Blackwater Mine including 7 x Draglines and 2 x Electric Rope Shovels. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, safety compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee maintenance teams and field operations to deliver high-quality service
* Ensure adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations
* Manage budgets, resources, and schedules effectively
* Collaborate with operations teams to optimize mining productivity
* Lead safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture
